Port Colborne Health Coalition Town Hall Meeting

  • Thursday, November 6, 2025
  • Port Colborne Legion, 67 Clarence St, Port Colborne ON
  • 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Our urgent care and hospital services are important to our community. We have seen changes and there is a risk that we will lose all our hospital services. Working together, we can ensure that Port Colborne gets 24/7 urgent care and the hospital services it needs. Please join us and bring your ideas and concerns!

Dear Niagara Water Protection Alliance Supporters:

The NWPA Board and members continue to focus on Water Protection issues in our community, as it has a direct relationship to our health and is a basic human right. We also keep informed on other important community issues that we believe are a basic human right and impact our health.  The NWPA board is aware of the Port Colborne Health Coalition (PCHC) advocating to protect our access to healthcare services in Port Colborne.

Like the NWPA the PCHC recognizes the threat to our health and human right and is actively raising awareness by engaging our town council and gaining support from our community to counter these threats.

Like the NWPA the PCHC needs support from all residents in Port Colborne as this affects all of us.

Like we need clean fresh water we need a system that services our health needs today and into the future and the PCHC is striving for us to maintain our health system that we have come to rely on.

The NWPA board recognizes the challenges the PCHC faces and would like to support the PCHC’s efforts by sharing their report with our membership in the hopes of raising awareness to this threat and showing our membership’s support for the PCHC’s efforts.

In turn, we asked the PCHC board and they agreed to reciprocate by sharing with its members the NWPA’s concerns and efforts to make our community aware of the threats to our water.

Please read the attached PCHC Report for more information on the threat. Everyone is encouraged to accept the PCHC’s invite to their town hall meeting on November 6 at 6:30 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 67 Clarence St. in Port Colborne.
